There’ll be entertainment for all ages at this fun
Family Raceday including activities for the youngest racegoers: inflatable games, face painters and magic, plus free ice-creams for the first 200 children to arrive.
Remember: children aged 17 and under are admitted free of charge to all of Kelso’s fixtures, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
The six-race programme features the NSPCC School Service Handicap Chase (40k prize), won in the past by some of the most popular horses in the North including: Tommy’s Oscar, Nuts Well and Simply Ned.
Kelso offers a single public enclosure so that all racegoers can get close to see the horses in the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure, as well as get a great view of the track.
Hospitality bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
Getting here couldn’t be easier – there is plenty of free parking. Bus transfer tickets are available, from both Tweedbank and Berwick-upon-Tweed train stations, and can be booked in advance if you’d prefer to leave your car at home.
